Roman Bank Roadworks

Roadworks have resumed after the Christmas break on Skegness’ Roman Bank road.
In places, only single-file traffic is able to flow, with temporary traffic lights systems in place to control and manage the highway.
Some nearby footpaths have also been closed-off to pedestrians to allow work to take place.
The building and repair of the busy stretch of road is causing traffic delays for road users travelling through Skegness, Winthorpe and Ingoldmells.
The works, which will extend the existing bus lane from the entrance of the Butlins resort in Ingoldmells, through to Skegness began on November 7, 2016.
Work is set to continue for the next 21 weeks.
