The Town’s football teams are cream of the crop.

Skegness Town, who play football in the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire Football League, recently thumped fifth from bottom, CGB Humbertherm by an astonishing 9-0 scoreline at home at the Vertigo Stadium on Saturday, Jan 28.
They then lost their next game 3-1 away to mid table Brigg Town FC Reserves on Saturday February, 4.
But, despite this, Skegness Town remain top of the tree, with two games in hand over second placed Hykeham Town, with five points to spare and just ten league fixtures left to play.
This Saturday, Skegness Town will play host to Nettleham, 13th in the league of 16, with a 1.30 kick-off time.

Similarly, Skegness United, who now ply their trade in the East Lincs Combination Div 2 are also in sterling form.
Top of their league by six points and a massive goal difference of plus 34 and a game in hand over North Thoresby, Skegness United recently eased past Alford away, winning 2-0 to remain top of the league.
United, who currently play their home games from Skegness Grammar School’s playing fields, next play this Saturday, with a 1.45 kick-off time.

They face an away trip away to Chapel Swifts on Hogsthorpe Playing Fields, as they look to secure the Philip Jackson league crown.
