At the recent Bushido Za-zen International Junior Judo championships, held at High Wycombe judo centre, Skegness and Seathorne Judo clubs had 5 entrants: Ethan Steele, Bradley, Jake and Nicole Meese and Grace Ramsden.
In this prestigious competition, with entrants from all over the country, our competitors performed outstandingly with all 5 competitors returning with a medal.
3 of our competitors were undefeated all day returning with gold medals, these were: Ethan Steele, Bradley and Nicole Meese. Jake Meese only lost one fight all day to take the Silver medal, and Grace Ramsden took the bronze medal in her first major competition, an absolutely splendid set of results for all concerned.
Seathorne Judo club are pleased to award this months’ Judoka of the Month award to Nicole Meese.
This has been awarded for Nicole’s continued dedication and fantastic attitude. Nicole receives a club training top, sponsored by Fresh Fitness of Skegness, presented by club Sensei Mark Mason.
