Ready, Set, Go for AMCA Beach Racing

The 2017 Skegness Beach Race is fast approaching and businesses in Skegness can look forward to another bumper pre Christmas payday as significant numbers of people in the tens of thousands (Estimated 20,000) people are set to visit the resort of Skegness over the two days in November that this huge annual event comes to town.

In association with East Lindsey District Council, the Skegness beach race has grown into one of the largest off-road events in the UK, since it’s inception in 2010.

And it now regurlarly attracting crowds well in excess of 20,000 people over a single weekend.

The event is scheduled for November 4-5 with races for solo’s, and quads and sidecars.

On-board this year for the second time will be Integro Doodson Broking Group, who are sponsoring the Quad / Sidecar race and Integro Doodson BG are keen to continue their support of the Skegness Beach Race which has proved extremely popular with visitors to the coast.

 

The winner of this year’s Adult Solo will pick up £1,000 in prize money, which has previously been taken home by the likes of Milko Potisek, Nez Parker, Nathan Watson, Dan Thornhill and James Hutchinson.

The AMCA have been working closely with East Lindsey District Council and the East Lindsey Event Safety Advisory Group to ensure that this event can be held in a manner that compliments the town and supports the local economy by bringing people to Skegness during the closed season in a safe and responsible manner.

East Lindsey District Council have supported the event from the start and have provided a huge amount of support and sponsorship.

Spectating is FREE, but the public car parks are Council managed and seasonal charges will apply.

Specialist trade stands as well as beachside food concessions will be open!

The minimum age for this event is 13-years-old and the minimum bike capacity is 125/250f

Presentations for the 2017 AMCA SKEGNESS MOTOCROSS BEACH RACE  will take place in one of  Skegness’ newest sea front venues on Grand Parade in Skegness at ‘Busters Fun Pub’ over the weekend  of November 4-5.

This will mark the eighth year that this event has been running in the town;  helping to increase the Autumnal revenue of businesses when the number of visitors to the town traditionally decreases after the busy Summer period.
