You are never short of things to do when you live so close to the seaside in the Skegness area, but just in case you go a little blank and are looking for some new and fresh ideas for things to get up to, especially with the kids, then this article should go some way to helping you out!

FEBRUARY 9 (Onwards)

Skegness’ Tower Cinema is always a good safe bet to take the kids for a fantastic February half term.

But with a great selection of films on offer this half term, there really is something to choose for all ages and tastes!

FEBRUARY 9-10

Do you have a passion to perform?

Then the Embassy Theatre Academy is the perfect place for you to begin your journey, where your unique talents will be nurtured.

Why not kick-off half term by enrolling at the Embassy Theatre Academy over these dates.

Sessions take place in the Embassy Theatre Arts Room, (term times only).

FEBRUARY 11

Please come and visit us at Natureland!

Natureland Seal Sanctuary in Skegnes is open throughout half term and you can visit them on any day of the week, so we could have put this anywhere in our list.

However it could really top off that half term Sunday Stroll along the the beach.

Apparently, They’ve ‘had a hectic few weeks at the Sanctuary with a whole host of new arrivals having to be cared for in their special Seal Hospital – So I’m sure your support will be truly grateful – plus you will have a wonderful time learning all about the Sanctuary and all their inhabitants.

As well as new arrivals, there’s also been a number of changes to the Sanctuary, So whatever day you choose, it’s a great idea to pop in and see what’s new!

The cheeky little RESIDENT meerkats (left) will love to see you there too!

FEBRUARY 12

Skegness Pier have got all loved up this February Half term by advertising a number of activities all designed for a loving couple to enjoy.

FEBRUARY 13

This Tuesday, Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve are celebrating ‘National Bird Box week’,

So they are putting on an event for families to come along and make their own bird box.

Be at one with nature this half term and make your own bird box!

This will give you a great opportunity to watch the visiting birds around your home.

£6 per child, this includes all the materials to make your own box to take home.

12 pm – 2 pm

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

FEBRUARY 16

It’s always a good time to make a splash at Skegness Aquarium, however  today, from 12 noon they are running one of their ‘Skegness Aquarium Beach Cleans’.

If you would like to take part in this worthy event join staff at 12 noon outside the Aquarium.

If you just want to Rock ‘n’ Roll this half term, then there is no better place to do it than at the Emnassy Theatere in Skegness.

The The West End smash hit comes to town starring five giants of rock’n’roll – Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Billy Fury, Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison. . .
