The opening 2 doubles were shared leaving the score at 6-4, it was the last duo of Gary Garton 100, 125 and Pete Evans 5 x 100, 125 who held their nerve for the sports to win and force the draw.

Liberal Us could not field a side against the Seaview Raiders so the Raiders are gifted a 9-3 win, Long time leaders WMC Aces, who had slipped into second spot in recent weeks, were at home to Vine and needed a win to get back on track, shared the singles 3-3, they then shared the opening 2 doubles, to leave the score at 5-5 with a last pair shootout.
Mick Seager 2 x 100, 125, and David Reding found the Vine’s duo of D Pendrigh and M Spence 120, 140, as they powered to the win, giving the Vine a 7-5 surprise win Miles Hartley 4 x 100, 101, 121, 125, and a 122 finish was the pick of their high Scorer’s.
This shock result meant that if the Red Arrows won against the Welcome Hillbillies they would be crowned champions as they would be 2 points clear of Seaview and 3 ahead of the aces with 1 game to go, and the Vine and Red Arrows not playing their final game, Red Arrows looked every inch the Champions, as they raced into a 5-1 singles lead Stuart Hodson 2 x 100, 105, Nick Casswell 100, 125, 140, Paul Tuplin 100, 140, and Mark Simpson 2 x 100, 2 x 125, 140, turning the screw for the Champion’s elect.
Hillbillies captain Nidge Stocks 2 x 100, 116, 125 was the solitary point scorer over Arrows captain Andrew Cooper , Red Arrows looked to be stuttering as the Hillbillies took the first doubles to peg it back to 5-3, but any hope of a comeback was quashed as the Arrows took the next 2 to win 9-3 and claim the title.
Runners up spot, will go to the wire as Seaview now hold that position 1 point ahead of the aces and these 2 clash on the final week
